French Open Hospitality & Box Seats (Loges) Explained

There are two premium ways to watch Roland-Garros. Hospitality packages, sold through the FFT's appointed hospitality partners, pair a premium show-court seat with lounge access, a meal and drinks. Box seats (loges) are private boxes in the first ~8 rows around Court Philippe-Chatrier, the closest seats to the court. Both cost far more than a standard ticket, and second-week sessions, especially the finals weekend, go first. Boxes are sold mainly to companies as hospitality, and individual box seats also appear on resale marketplaces.

Where the boxes sit on Philippe-Chatrier

Philippe-Chatrier (about 15,000 seats, with a retractable roof since 2020) is laid out in four bands, from the court outwards:

Categories 2 and 3The upper level (Category 2 at the front, Category 3 behind)Upper level

For a regular ticket as close as possible to the court, Category Gold is the one to look for. Our box seats guide covers the boxes in more detail, and the tickets and seating guide covers every category and the other show courts.

    What hospitality usually includes

    • A premium reserved seat on a show court, usually Philippe-Chatrier or Suzanne-Lenglen
    • Access to a hospitality lounge or village before, during and after play
    • A meal (often a lunch or dinner of French cuisine) and drinks, often including champagne
    • On some packages, access to the outside courts with the same ticket

Inclusions vary by package and provider. Before you book, check which court and seat category you get, what the meal and drinks cover, and whether the session is a day or a night session.

    Companies and groups

Hospitality packages and private boxes are built for corporate hosting: the seats are together, the catering is handled, and one booking covers the whole party. Standard official tickets work differently. They are nominative (tied to each guest's name) and sold per account in the official sale phases, so a large group buying them separately may not sit together.

For a group on a smaller budget, the usual approach is a block of regular seats bought together, or grounds passes for a first-week day when outside-court seating is unreserved anyway.

    Hotel and ticket packages

The official ticket office sells tickets, not hotels. Some travel agencies and hospitality providers bundle a hotel with tickets, which is convenient but not always cheaper. Price the ticket and the hotel separately before you commit. Our hotels near Roland-Garros guide and getting there guide cover where to stay and how to reach the stadium.

    Is it worth it?

Hospitality makes sense for hosting clients or for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion where the lounge, the meal and the seat matter. If you only want a great view, a Category Gold or Category 1 seat on Philippe-Chatrier usually costs much less. Compare both in our price comparison and where to buy guide.

    Frequently asked questions

What is included in a French Open hospitality package?

A hospitality package pairs a premium reserved seat on a show court, usually Philippe-Chatrier or Suzanne-Lenglen, with access to a hospitality lounge or village, a meal and drinks. Exactly what is included (court, seat category, menu, drinks, outside-court access) varies by package and provider, so check the inclusions before you book.

Where are the box seats (loges) at Philippe-Chatrier?

The boxes sit in the first ~8 rows around Court Philippe-Chatrier, the closest seats to the court. Category Gold (rows 1 to 9 of the lower bowl) is directly behind them, Category 1 covers rows 10 to 21, and Categories 2 and 3 make up the upper level.

Are box seats the same as Category Gold?

No. Box seats are private boxes in front of the regular seating and are mostly sold as hospitality to companies. Category Gold is the best regular ticket category: rows 1 to 9 of the lower bowl, directly behind the boxes.

How much does French Open hospitality cost?

Prices depend on the court, the round and the provider, and the finals weekend costs the most. Prices change often and are set by the sellers, so we do not quote them. Check the official hospitality programme or a resale marketplace such as GoalTickets for current prices.

Can I book French Open hospitality for a company or a group?

Yes. Hospitality packages and private boxes are designed for corporate hosting and are the most reliable way to seat a group together. Standard official tickets are nominative and sold per account, so a large group buying them separately may not sit together.

Does Roland-Garros sell hotel and ticket packages?

The official ticket office sells tickets, not hotels. Some travel agencies and hospitality providers bundle a hotel with tickets. Compare a bundle's price with booking the ticket and the hotel separately before you buy.
