French Open 2027 Player Entry List
The official entry list for Roland-Garros 2027 has not yet been released — the FFT typically publishes it about six weeks before the tournament (the 2026 lists came out on April 14, so expect mid-April 2027 for a May 23 start). We'll publish the full men's and women's lists here as soon as they're official. Until then, here's exactly how the 128-player singles draws get filled.
~104 Direct Entries
The bulk of each 128-player draw enters directly by ATP/WTA ranking, using the rankings snapshot taken roughly six weeks before the event. Players who are injured can use a protected (special) ranking to enter.
8 Wild Cards
The FFT awards eight wild cards per draw, traditionally favouring French players, plus reciprocal picks exchanged with the Australian Open (Tennis Australia) and US Open (USTA).
16 Qualifiers
A 128-player qualifying tournament the week before the main draw produces 16 qualifiers per draw. Withdrawals after qualifying begin are replaced by lucky losers.
Who to expect in 2027
Barring injury, the 2027 field should include defending champions Alexander Zverev and Mirra Andreeva, plus Carlos Alcaraz — the 2024–25 champion who missed the 2026 edition with a wrist injury — world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and four-time champion Iga Świątek.
