How the Official Roland-Garros Ticket Sale Works

Official French Open tickets are sold on tickets.rolandgarros.com in phases. For the 2026 edition: a free registration draw ran December 3–17, 2025; winners received personal purchase windows in the second half of February 2026; and a first-come, first-served sale for Opening Week and remaining outside-court tickets opened March 31, 2026. Expect the same pattern for 2027 — registration around December 2026 — though the FFT has not yet announced it.

    The phases, step by step

    1. Registration draw (December)

Create an account on tickets.rolandgarros.com and register for the draw — it's free, needs no payment card, and takes minutes (minimum age 15). Registering early or late makes no difference to your odds.

    2. Winner purchase windows (February)

Winners are emailed a personal time slot in which they can buy from the available inventory. Being drawn doesn't guarantee your preferred court or day — popular sessions go to the earliest slots. FFT tennis-licence holders get a separate presale with purchase caps before the public windows.

    3. First-come sale (late March)

Remaining tickets — mainly Opening Week (qualifying) and final-week outside courts — go on open sale. In 2026 this was March 31 at 10:00 Paris time. See our qualifying guide for why the €29 Opening Week ticket is the sleeper pick.

    4. Official resale (spring)

The FFT runs a face-value resale platform inside the official ticketing site — the only FFT-sanctioned resale channel. Tickets are nominative (tied to name and date of birth) and 100% mobile via the Roland-Garros app; official transfers are done through the app's transfer function.

Process verified against official Roland-Garros and FFT announcements for the 2026 edition (July 2026). The 2027 process has not been announced; dates above are the established pattern, not confirmed 2027 dates.
